This project involved the construction of a 1,000 pupil Post Primary School including Special Needs Unit, full sized all weather GAA Pitch and multiple ball courts on a 5.2ha site. The works also include the construction of a new public access road to the east of the site with associated footpaths, street lighting and cycle paths to both sides and associated works to link with the existing public road (R121). The site is located on the northern edge of Tyrrelstown town beside two primary schools, community centre and Town Park.

The site layout was designed with a large car park and all weather GAA sport pitch to the front with changing rooms off the sports hall.  These facilities are shared with Fingal County Council with links to the existing community centre and Town Park.  The school was built using precast concrete walls throughout to improve the programme and allow the school enter into Phase 1 in September 2016 on programme.

On entering the large glazed lobby you pass into the large communal GP area with glulam columns and beams supporting extensive curtain walling looking onto an internal landscaped garden which the school is set around.

The School project won the Education Project of the Year 2018 from the Irish Construction Industry Awards and was runner up in the Education Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2018 and was shortlisted for Irish Concrete Society main award.
