The Contract for the construction of Portlaoise Library was signed in December 2019.
The Library is located on the prominent site of Shaws Department Store in the Square, Portlaoise.
The €4.0m Library will consist of a 1,543m/sq building over 3 levels and will provide a significant landmark building in the historic town centre.
